As with the corresponding in-house activities in Persona 4 and Persona 5, performing these tasks will strengthen each of the protagonist's Social Stats which can be used to later pursue specific interactions with Social Links. For example, reading books will increase the protagonist's Academics for school, while gardening yields the reward of the protagonist being able to learn new Tactics in battle. By spending time with your friends in the dormitory, you may acquire passive skills called Traits that are useful in battle. Actively spend time with your friends, to utilize these useful battle features.

These are three excellent games that are well worth playing at pretty much any time of the year, but what I’ve discovered in particular is that the Persona series makes for the perfect companions during the bleak winter months when the weather outside is gloomy and it’s starting to getting dark by the middle of the afternoon. 

Persona 3 Reload’s main narrative is also surprisingly appropriate if you're dealing with your own form of SAD right now. 

Very little else in the original game's story has changed, which isn't for the better in all cases. Ridding the world of such a blight is a pretty excellent motivation for pushing through even when the dungeons get repetitive.  

Plus, there’s something remarkable about any video game that can get me excited about spending time in my room studying for a school midterm the next day.
